A guide to lens coating

So if you are buying glasses and there are ton of coating options and you're overwhelmed you don't know what to do. Well I'm gonna try and help you there so stick around Photochromatic Vs Polarized Vs Transition lenses:

Photochromatic just means any types of lens that changes colors or darkens.

Transition even though most people when they mean photochromatic lens they say "I want a pair of transition lenses" and what they mean is "I want a pair of lenses that gets dark in the sun well that's actually a brand name and whereas this one does the exact same thing only it's a different name from a different company.

There is no difference transition is just a specific brand of a photochromic lens. You will notice that polarized lens is dark even though we are inside transition and photochromic  will darken once they are in direct contact with the sun.

So the question is what's the difference between the two?

Well the difference is these are outdoor lenses and that's what they are made for but your photochromic lenses are for both. More specifically your polarized lenses one thing that's unique is that it blacks all of the reflections that come in you know how you might see real bright reflections off of snow off of water off of even other cars things like that shiny objects on the street well the polarized lenses neutralizes all those reflections and that's actually one of the main benefits of polarized lenses and why people prefer polarized in sunglasses.

Eye Movement Dysfunction

The rotational movements of intorsion and extorsion are necessary to keep a viewed object stable and positioned on the appropriate part of the retina as the head is tilted from side to side. To illustrate imagine standing upright and looking at an arrow that is pointing superiorly.  Now tilt your head 45 degrees to the right, does the arrow move with your head? Now point at a 45 degree angle, hopefully not. Because of intorsion and extortion the arrow should still appear to be pointing superiorly. In this case the right eye has been intowarded and the left eye has been equivalently extorted so that the image falls on the same part of the retina as before the head tilt. Obviously our eye has a limited range of intorsion and extorsion. They cannot spin completely around within the orbit. And if we were to stand on our head the arrow would appear to change direction and appear to point inferiorly. Now, lets look at the movements produced by each of the extra oculum muscles. Medial and...
